George Davidson Greenly Jr. is a retired U. S. Air Force officer with meteorology and atmospheric
science degrees from Florida State University, the University of Oklahoma, and The University of California at Davis. He retired from the USAF to accept a position with the Lawrence Livermore
National Laboratory (LLNL). His so-called retirement took him from LLNL after 15 years to the International Technology Corporation then to Battelle Northwest Laboratories and finally to
Maricopa County, Arizona's Environmental services where he served as the County's Air Quality Compliance Manager. Interspersed with all of these positions he worked as an American Meteorology Society
(AMS) Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), consulting as a forensic meteorologist and served a 3-year term on the AMS CCM Board. He has also been an educator teaching Meteorology courses at the
Community College and University level. Having written several technical papers and reports during his military and "retired" scientific careers, he decided to pursue his fiction writing muse which had been too long dormant. He enrolled in writing courses and now as a graduate of the Long Ridge Writers Group courses, "Breaking into Print" and "Shape, Write, and Sell Your Novel" his
first novel "Revelations"was published by Abbott Press.
